On 22 March 2019, a Portugal Visa Application Centre was launched in Sao Paulo, Brazil, bringing Portugal visa services closer to home for residents. Under the mandate by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, VFS Global will also roll out Portugal visa services in Brasilia, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.
VFS Global has been serving the Government of Portugal since 2008, through 70 Visa Application Centres in 18 countries.
