On 16 April 2019, M. Guioguet, First Counsellor, Embassy of France in Ankara, inaugurated the new Joint Visa Application Centre in Ankara, Turkey. The centre provides visa services for 27 Schengen and non-Schengen countries - Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Ukraine.
VFS Global also rolled out a Joint Visa Application Centre on 14 May 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey.
