After successfully establishing the UK Visa Application
Centre in Lima, Peru, on 08 July 2016, VFS Global
has extended its service network for the Home
Office – UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) on the South
American continent, by launching a new centre in La
Paz, Bolivia. The centre, which commenced operations
from 29 September 2016, manages visa applications
and supports the mandatory biometric enrolments for
residents in Bolivia, who earlier had to approach the
British Embassy to submit their applications.
With the UK emerging as a popular destination for
Bolivians, the new centre caters to the increased
demand for visas by offering specialised services for
applicants, including walk-ins without having a prior
appointment or retaining passports while the visas get
processed. The centre also provides extended facilities
like out-of-hours application submission and servicing
group appointment to effectively meet the increased
demand from the country. Applicants who seek quicker
processing of their visas and do not wish to undergo the
normal waiting period can even avail the ‘Priority Visa
Service’ option at the centre to have their applications
put at the front of the queue for processing at the UK
Decision Making Centre.
