Professionally trained VFS Global staff registered an applicant & enrolling their biometrics
South Africa Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba presenting an
LSP permit to an applicant
The simplified process requires applicants to only
submit the original stamped Bank Deposit Slip and
Lesotho Birth Certificate or ID to submit their LSP
application at any of the LSP Facilitation Centres.
The LSP project is similar to another recently concluded
Zimbabwe Special Permit programme in South Africa for
the registration of Zimbabwe nationals, also managed by
VFS Global on behalf of the Department of Home Affairs
(DHA), South Africa. These identity and citizen services
are apart from the visa and resident permit processing
(for foreign nationals) service that VFS Global manages
for the DHA.

application areas, such as e-passports, e-visas, national
identity cards, driving licenses, electoral registration,
foreign national resident permits, healthcare cards, and
other governance, and administration-related solutions.
